If this is your first visit to my blog, I would like you to know that I am very glad that you are here. In fact, I think that you should feel glad too, more so than me.
For me, this is another milestone (albeit a very important one) in life and I intend to make a deep groove along the way so that I can lead those who choose to follow.
This blog is about personal growth. It goes beyond the realms of self-help books and workshops. It goes back into the depths of history, when some exhausted scientists emerged from their stuffy laboratories, absolutely delighted about having discovered that the Universe actually contains much more than what we see.
Follow up:
This scientific discovery went on to alter the way mankind has ever perceived the Universe and till today, the baffling theory of atoms continues to amuse and stimulate the minds of many generations. Unfortunately, not everything about atoms was conveyed the way it should have been and most people have not tasted the fruits of the real truth.
As an author and motivational speaker, it has taken me years to develop this topic into what it is today. During this journey, I, like anyone else, came across hundreds of motivational and self-help theories that swept this planet.
Sadly, after having read thousands of materials; I concluded that there is a vital element missing in all of them. The element that truly matters. The element that will make a difference.
Have you ever wondered how you still remember and believe that 12+12=24 many years after you learnt it in school? You do seem to ‘know’ that 24 is the answer and it would probably be very difficult for someone to convince you otherwise (I am hoping that you are convinced that you are right!)? Why?
Well, you know that is the right answer because you learnt it and would have applied this sum in your life at least a few hundred times till now! Education moulds minds. We may not always find everything we learn useful when we step into adulthood but what we learnt has been embedded in our subconscious minds! Some lessons remain prominent while others remain fuzzy images that never seem to make much sense.
Your subconscious mind sorts out all that you absorb from the physical world and stores it in one of the most sophisticated memory banks ever to exist!
Yet, we still misplace everything from car keys to cellphones and forget birthdays and dental appointments only to blame it on how forgetful the human species can get! Don’t sweat the small stuff! I don’t blame you for it.
You can only remember what you really want your brain to remember…. so 12+12=24 is easier to remember than your Porsche keys. Why? Quite simply because you did not program your mind to do so. You need to unlearn what you know to learn this scientific truth that rules the Universe. It will alter your thoughts and beliefs but I can assure you that when you find out who you really are, it will change the way you live. This truth cannot be exposed through mere motivation. It takes facts.
Now comes the part why self-help and motivation won’t really do wonders for you. Stay tuned.
