I was just reading an article on the headline-grabbing ‘dying’ Jade Goody and how much of an impact she has made in the lives of people around her and throughout the planet.
An outpour of mixed emotions ranging from hatred and disgust to empathy and hopelessness has been portrayed almost everywhere, probably much to the glee of the paparazzi, which is preparing itself to turn her funeral into a spectacle resembling that of the late Princess Diana!
Follow up:
I am no ardent fan of hers, but one just can’t help notice all the attention she seems to be getting nowadays. People seem to be soaking in her misery and pain, that it almost feels like Jade has intensified the energy of death to such a great extend that she may not be able to reverse it!
From the moment she was informed about the diagnosis, Jade seems to have totally submitted herself to this disease without even trying to work her mind at all. You may say, what can she do? She is so sick and dying!
Well, there is plenty that she could have done. To start with, she could have stopped using words and thoughts that depict death and dying. There are cancer survivors throughout the world and cases of miraculous cures are no longer rare.
Swimming with the tide has never been considered courageous, which is what Jade seems to believe in. I was wondering what she meant when she said she would not go down without a fight. What was that supposed to mean?
She must have used the term,"I am dying,” at least a dozen times consciously and subconsciously. Why blame the body for falling prey to the disease?
You have to watch what you say and think for every second counts. Could Jade have cured herself from cervical cancer? She could have, if she only believed she could. She chose to invite the dreaded disease instead.
I still hope Jade would turn out alright. Looking at her two kids and all the money that she has left for them; its pathetic to see that she would not even get to see them grow up.
If I was in her shoes (which I thank God I am not), I would fight against the current. That’s where victory stands.
This applies to all of us. Stop inflicting misery and pain into your life by always thinking about it.
“I have a horrible memory”
“I am too fat”
“I feel so drained”
“I am horrible in Math”
“I can never win a marathon”
“I have cancer and the doctor says I have just months to live!”
The list is endless and you know what I mean. Change your attitude and your attitude will change your life.
