The realistic, hardworking kind somehow don’t quite like lucky people. They will tell you a dozen negative points about this topic in less than a minute…or maybe a little more.
The truth is, these ‘lucky’ folks don’t really have a fairy godmother watching over them. They simply have found the trick to getting lucky, with or without realizing it.
Follow up:
Luck is not dependent on what your horoscope says for the day or if you woke up on the right side of the bed. Luck is when you know you will get exactly what you want, no matter what.
For instance, what would you go after right now if you knew you would get it? Leave the how,why and when thoughts in some dark spot and focus on the answer. Think as big as you can. What would you really like to have in life right now?
How will you feel if you get it now? Will you feel lucky? Well, let me assure you that if you really believe in it; you WILL and not just MIGHT get lucky! Its as simple as that.
How can you really believe in something and make it appear? Sounds impractical? Well, that sets the winners apart from the losers. Whose side would you rather be on?
If you were to take a sneak peek inside the mind of a ‘lucky’ person, you will find that he or she basically has a positive attitude towards life. This person may not have just happened to be at the right place at the right time but has known that it would happen anyway.
Your ‘lucky’ neighbor believed that he or she can win that lottery and not by just hoping or wishing. Wishing is different from believing. Luck is based on believe and not hope or wish. This is where most of us misunderstand the fact behind luck.
Luck does not happen out of the blue. It has been embedded in the person’s mind and he or she has been sending out a positive energy towards the element with or without actually realizing the outcome. The intense desire for something and belief in its manifestation will attract the element towards this person.
So if you really want something, no matter what it is, you will get it.
You have the power within you to want anything at any point of time in your life. You are in control of your luck. Luck comes from within you and not by chance.
The next time you want to try your luck at anything, approach it with this attitude and composure. You’ll soon find out how truly ‘lucky’ you are,afterall!17 comments
Someone just wrote a book about "optimism leading to the downfall of America's economy". This seems to be reality: everyone expects things to work out, then when they don't, we're all surprised.. the night of 9/11, the leading bishop of the U.S. said "nothing fails us as often or as dramatically as prayer", and prayer is an optimistic "talk with God", else it wouldn't be a tool used by most.
It seems that only a miniscule few really have things "work out" as they expect. Estimates are that 90% of us work in jobs we don't like, very few are doing what they really would like to be doing. There's a certain amount "opportunistic luck" involved that lets some people be pro poker players, pro movie watchers, pro game testers, pro musicians, pro actors, pro artists, pros at sports - and make enough at those "fun" careers to survive.. many (a majority) STARVE trying to make careers of those basically fun activities..
Why isn't the world geared more toward allowing people to ENJOY life and work? This has always baffled me, as growing up I constantly heard adults say things like "that's why they call it WORK", etc..
In a utopia, we'd all be happy in our careers, or when we find a job we like, it should last until retirement but rarely does, thanks to economic upheavals and other unforeseen disasters.. there is NO job security in life, and most people move ONCE per decade for jobs whether they want to or not..
I wish I had the answer myself, my "luck" comes and goes, and my optimism is constantly being slapped in the face.
Just my opinion, based on my experiences, that's all each of us has - if anyone had "the truth", we'd all know it, right?
.. Jose Sinclair..
If all of us lived congruent to the flow of live..this concept of luck would not exist at all. And instead of focusing on believing to be lucky ..just live life with ego/mind out the way and watch you become "lucky"
However, I would like to add that there is scientific evidence supporting every theory mentioned in this blog and website and were not mere thoughts.
Thank you.
